Georgia Tree Houses You Must Book. As Well As An Honorable Mention Outside the Peach State...

Treehouse master builder, Pete Nelson, once said, "Tree houses are the ultimate return to nature". I could not agree more. Nature along with God’s other greatest creations can not be fabricated nor can they be duplicated. Each and every piece of it, unique and the only one of it’s kind. Aside from the obvious reasons, I would live in nature. Every single day. Always. But alas, the great outdoors are not for everyone and can not be enjoyed to the fullest at all times… But it could be. Tree houses bring an elevated level of comfort by lifting you above the ground and providing protection amongst the trees. The following is a compiled list of Georgia tree houses that put comfy living in the heart of nature. I've also added one wild card, an honorable mention, that is worth the extended trek from the peach state.

First up is a charmer in Suches Georgia. I must say, the allure to “Firefly Bend” treehouse was the ability to roll your bed onto the porch so that your can comfortably watch the stars above you. Nothing says, comfort and nature like stargazing from your bed in the woods. Sleeps 2 Book Now

Next up is located in Atlanta Georgia. An oasis in the city, if you will. This rustic stay will have you feel the peaceful seclusion of treehouse living with the bustling city of Atlanta nearby. Its the dreamy porch and suspended bridge that does it for me. Remember to pack a nice red blend to sip on while listening to the nature around you. Sleeps 4 Book Now

Another Atlanta treehouse that offers all of the luxuries of a four star hotel is the Atlanta treehouse in East Point. This treehouse exudes romance and offers the ability to add on several services at additional costs, such as onsite couples massages and hiring a private chef as well. This is an anniversary must! Sleeps 2 Book Now

Dahlonega Georgia is one of our family’s favorite places in North Georgia to visit. I was not the least bit surprised to find out that it offers a couple of fantastic tree houses, itself! Treehouse stays are difficult to accommodate more than two guests at a time so I love that this one is spacious and sleeps four. Imagine sipping a sauvignon blanc with these gorgeous views! Sleeps 4 Book Now

This gem in Kennesaw Georgia offers a unique feature that is truly special. An actual treasure hunt! This bungalow in the trees holds puzzles and clues to help you find the treasure. Winners receive bragging rights and a prize as well. Contact the owner, Ryan, about exceeding the 2 guests maximum. He may be able to accommodate if you desire to bring along your son or daughter. Sleeps 2, contact owner for additional guests. Book Now

Honorable Mention...

Ok, though it is not in Georgia, it was a tree house too good not to make this list. Located in Copperhill TN, is a pet friendly treehouse that sleeps four guests and boasts mountainous views that go on forever. Bridges, balconies, fire pits and outstanding views has earned this treehouse the honorable mention for my 2021 treehouse post. Sleeps 4, pets stay free, Book Now

So feel free to browse all of the listings and be sure to dream up the most adventurous getaway by staying in one of the treehouses on my list! Cheers!
